I want to announce my website ... ?

We encourage the posting of links to jazz guitar related websites, but please follow these guidelines:

1. Annoucing a link to your site without making any significant contribution to the group or as a response to another members question is generally considered spam. Please do not spam the group. Posting a link to an article on your website as a means to draw visitors to your website is considered "link spam", rather the article should be pasted in full as part of your post with a link to your site at the bottom.

2. Before announcing the website, the website must include a link promoting YJGG. See: How can I help the group ...?

3. The announcement should should include a description and details about the site and not just a URL. Please be succinct, with minimum marketing terms. Out of respect for other members please do not indulge in excessive self-promotion.

4. Please do not post invites or cross post to your new web forum that you have just set-up.

PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THE GROUP. YJGG SHOULD NOT BE USED AS AN EXTENSION OF YOUR MAILING LIST TO PROMOTE YOUR CD's, SERVICES OR PRODUCTS.
